Inflammatory Musculoskeletal Disorders

Some Musculoskeletal disorders in children are caused by inflammation of the joints or of the connective tissue, that binds the body's structures together and provides support. Connective tissue forms a large part of muscles, bones, cartilage, and tendons and is also found in other parts of the body, such as the skin and the membranes surrounding the heart and lungs.

The 2 main inflammatory disorders in children are Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis and Rheumatic Fever .
