Procedure: Foetal Movement Counting
 |
Foetal movement counting is a popular method of foetal
surveillance as it allows the mother to participate actively in the evaluation
of her baby's health. Here the baby's movements are counted: either how
long it takes for the baby to move 10 times or how many times the baby
moves in a specified amount of time. These are then used as an indication
of the baby's well being in the womb.
