Célia Boyer
Executive Directress
celia picture Serving since the inception of HON, Célia Boyer, along with the support of the Council of the Foundation, continues to carry out the work initiated by the late Founder, Professor Scherrer and his co-Founders.

Célia Boyer is recognized as an expert in quality assessment of medical information on the Internet and has taken part in several projects and conferences, both European and International.

Célia was the Scientific and Administrative Coordinator for the two-year project of the European Union WRAPIN (World Reliable Online Advice for Patients and Individuals).
She has authored more than 50 original scientific publications in peer-reviewed scientific journals including “Consumer Informatics: Applications and Strategies for Cyber Health Care” which was awarded the Book of the Year award in 2006 by HIMSS (Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society) and contributed to the special edition of IJMI (International Newspaper of Medical Informatics).
Her research focuses, at the international level, on the automation of quality detection of health websites, improvement of information search systems for better adaptation to the needs of the public, both patients and health professionals and the social and cultural determinants on the confidence of online health information according to geographic area.
At the national level, she is involved in the development of services and tools to meet the local needs which include Provisu.ch and Santeromande.ch.
Further involvements are detection of the accessibility and comprehension (level of complexity) of online health information.
Célia has a degree in Science and Applied Physics from the University of Luminy of Marseilles, France and an engineering degree from the Federal Polytechnic School of Lausanne, Switzerland.

Vincent Baujard
Web developer
Currently, Vincent is the Senior Web Programmer and is responsible for the Development Team at HON. He has directed web development carried out at the Foundation for over ten years and, along with the team of the Department of Imagery of the Cantonal Hospital of Geneva, was one of the originators of robot MARVIN, which is to this day used by the Foundation.
He is also responsible for the development of the expert system of the www.stop-tabac.ch site of the Institute of Preventive and Social Medicine of Geneva.

Sarah Cruchet
Junior developer
Sarah first came to HON as an intern where she was involved in the development of a multilingual Questions-Response system in the medical domain.
She has now finished her internship and has joined the HON team, where as the junior developer, she continues work on the same multilingual system.
Sarah has a degree in Medical Informatics and Information Technology from the Engineering School of Grenoble.

Arnaud Gaudinat
Software Engineer in data processing, specialized in NLP
Arnaud has extensive experience in the programming object, linguistics and computer phonetics, having previously worked at DIGITAL-Equipment, France.
He has been and is currently involved in several projects at HON, including the project WRAPIN (Worldwide online Reliable Advice for Patients and Individuals), PIPS (Personalised Information Platform for life and health Services) and other projects of the European Union made in collaboration with HON.
He also has several publications to his credit.
Arnaud has a bachelor’s degree in Linguistics and Informatics from a joint collaboration between the University of Geneva and University Marne la Vallié, France and a Master’s degree in Informatics.

Software Engineer in data processing, specialized in NLP (Natural Language Processing)

Having a degree in Medical Informatics from the University of Paris, Natalia works within the Research and Development team of HON and is currently working on developing an automatic aid for the certification of health websites.
She is also a member of the team Inserm U872, where she is involved in bioinformatics and information extraction from text.

Theodor Andersson
Research Assistant of online health information
Theodor is a former medical student at Geneva’s medical school. He works on the accreditation process of medical sites.

Elena Reale
Quality Assuror for online health information
Elena is currently in charge of quality control and internal auditing of the HON team, in addition to being a long standing staff member at Wal-Mart, where she manages quality control of products and procedures.
Her expertise on the subject is a great asset to HON.
Elena has a Master’s degree in Chemistry from the University of Florence.

Ndaté Sylla
Graphic Webdesigner
Ndaté has a degree from the National School of Fine Arts of Dakar, Senegal and prior to joining HON, had worked for several years in advertising and communication agencies in the French-speaking part of Switzerland.
He has continued to develop his knowledge and expertise while at HON, in the fields of printing and web design.

Jérémy Blatter
Internship in Informatics
Jérémy is a student in third year of Informatics at the "Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale" of Lausanne.

Herizo Andriambololoniaina
Internship
Herizo obtained his degree in Medicine at the Medical School of the University of Antananarivo, Madagascar. In 2007 he obtained a degree in Mediacl Informatics at the University of Geneva. Now he is preparing a Bachelor in Informatics Sciences at the University of Geneva and a Master2 in Assessment and Health Systems Engineering at the University of Marseille.

Mohammed Bourahla MD
Research Assistant of online health information
Mohammed studied General Medicine at the Medical faculty of Algiers, following which he worked in the field of research for a few years, at the Pierre and Marie Curie Institute of the Mustapha Hospital, Algiers,
He then went on to work in private practice for some time, before finally joining HON.

Sergio Garcia Vicente MD
Research Assistant of online health information
Sergio obtained his degree in Medicine at the Medical School of the University of Valencia, Spain, he completed his residency program in the Hospital General of Valencia and is currently working at the Valencia al Mar Hospital in Valencia.
He also has a Master’s degree in Medical Management from the School of Economics of the University of Valencia and a MBA from the School of Economics of the Open University - Spain.
He completed a training period in the Department of Family Medicine, Baylor College of Medicine, Houston.
He also recently completed a Master´s Program in Medical Informatics and Telemedicine in Madrid.
He is mainly involved in the accreditation process of medical sites and in the promotion of HON in Spain

Erik Montesinos MD
Research Assistant of online health information
Erik obtained his degree in Medicine from the Medical School of the
University of Valencia, he completed a five year specialty program in
Orthopedic Surgery in La Fe Teaching Hospital and is currently working at
the Hospital Arnau de Vilanova in Valencia, Spain.
Erik also completed a Medical Management Executive MBA in the National
School of Health, and works on the accreditation process of medical
websites and in the promotion of HON in Spain.

Cheick Oumar Bagayoko MD
Research Assistant of online health information
In charge of the accreditation process for medical sites within HON-Africa.
A clinician at the Mère Enfant Hospital in Mali, Cheick is also one of the doctors responsible for project “RAFT”, a network of educational television and Tele-medicine programs with the Teaching Hospitals of Geneva.

Leila Motteli MD
Research Assistant of online health information
Leila is involved in the accreditation of sites in addition to being responsible for the Complaints Division of HON.
She studied Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine, Algiers for 6 years and then received a diploma in data processing from the University of Geneva.
She then obtained a medical degree from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Geneva and after receiving her license to practice medicine, now does locums for the University Hospitals of Geneva.

Mayoni Ranasinghe MD
Research Assistant of online health information
Mayoni studied Medicine at the Manipal College of Medical Sciences, Nepal. Before coming to Geneva, she worked for over four years in Sri Lanka in various fields including Paediatrics, Surgery, Sexually Transmitted Diseases and Public Health and Epidemiology.

Judith Patterson MD
Research Assistant of online health information
She studied Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Geneva. Before working for HON she did locums at the University Hospitals of Geneva in Geriatrics and Internal Medicine.

Zuzanna Muskat-Górska
Research Assistant of online health information
In charge of the process of accreditation and revision with the contribution of an expertise in law after having received her law degree at the Institute of Sociology and Rights in Spain and a Master’s degree from the University of Witwaterstrand in South Africa, Zuzanna is currently working on a project “eAware” of the European Union.
She also collaborates on a research project on the confidentiality of information of HIV and AIDS in Poland.

Mahamoudane Niang MD
Research Assistant for online health information for HON Africa
With his degree from University of Mali, Mahamoudane is currently one of the members of REIMICOM, a data-processing network and medical communication in Mali.
He works on the accreditation of medical websites of HON Africa.

Seidou Tidiane Traoré MD
Research Assistant of online health information for HON Africa
Seidou who graduated from the University of Mali, is also one of the members of REIMICOM.
He is involved in the process of accreditation of medical sites of HON Africa.
