Together with State Farm® we created The Young Driver Research Initiative (YDRI), ), a unique industry-academic alliance committed to reducing teen driver crashes and now work with State Farm and others to study teen driving and develop evidence-based interventions.

Mission:
This site’s mission is to empower stakeholders with evidence-based resources and information that can make teen driver safety a priority issue in their communities, as well as help them implement educational strategies to address the number one cause of death among our nation’s youth--teen driver-related crashes.

teendriversource.org was developed by a team of injury prevention researchers and outreach communications professionals from The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia Research Institute to meet the expressed needs of key stakeholders and stakeholder organizations in teen driver safety.
Teen driver safety stakeholders are those who are best positioned to support and guide teens to safely navigate the first years of driving and ultimately become safe responsible drivers. These stakeholders include school-based educators, community and workplace-based educators, driver education instructors...
