2. Presentation of the site
Mission:
In addition to its technical and collaborative role, PAHO has always recognized that in order to achieve sustained development of the health services, at least two complementary activities must be supported:
- The development and training of Bahamian Nationals to improve indigenous capability.
- The occasional provision of some supplies and equipment to augment those resources being provided by the Ministry.

In this regard, PAHO maintains a very active fellowship program and frequently conducts workshops and seminars.
